A Season of Gratitude, Slowing Down, and Receiving the Blessings Around You
Hey Love,
it’s been a while, but i wanted to take a moment to write to you!
As we move into this season of warmth, family, and reflection, I’ve been thinking deeply about what this time of year really invites us into. And more than anything, it’s this: gratitude — the kind that gently settles into your bones and reminds you that even in the busiest, hardest, or most tender seasons of life, there are blessings woven quietly all around you.
In our community, and especially in motherhood, we are so used to giving. We pour out. We show up. We hold everyone else together. And so often, we forget to pause long enough to feel the fullness of everything that is holding us.
This Thanksgiving, I want to invite you into a softer rhythm.
One that lets you breathe.
One that lets you notice the beauty in the small things.
One that reminds you that you are worthy of receiving just as much as you give.
When I look back over this year within my own life and navigating some incredibly hard moments, my heart honestly swells with gratitude for the stories, the conversations, the healing, and the quiet transformations I’ve been honored to witness, not only in others around me but also within myself. Whether you've worked with me in the Tidal Women Membership, had one-on-one conversation with me, worked with me over the years, listened to a podcast episode (either Tidal Women or The Nurtured Well Collective), or simply found comfort in a blog post or email—you are part of the heartbeat of this community. And I’m genuinely so grateful for you.
You are at the center of my heart every day.
You remind me that women were never meant to walk through motherhood, wellness, or loss alone.
And you remind me that even in seasons of stretching and hard, beauty is still present—waiting to be acknowledged.
This week, as you cook, gather, celebrate, or even grieve, I hope you’ll make a little space for yourself. Put a hand on your heart. Feel your feet steady beneath you. Let gratitude rise slowly—not as another task to check off, but as a gentle awareness of what is here, what is good, and what is carrying you forward.
Gratitude for your breath.
For your babies.
For the support systems you’re building.
For the healing you’ve pursued this year.
For the strength you don’t always recognize in yourself.
For the peace that is still possible, even now.
And if this season feels heavy or complicated, please know this: gratitude isn’t about pretending everything is perfect. It’s about finding one small light, one simple truth, one moment of grounding that reminds you—you are still growing, still rising, still held.
Thank you for being here, even in the moments that I've had to pause in order to navigate some heaviness behind the scenes.
Thank you for trusting me with pieces of your journey, even still.
Thank you for showing up in the ways you do, for you and your family.
My hope is that this Thanksgiving fills you with Jesus, presence, softness, and the reassurance that you are never alone on this path. I am excited to walk alongside you in every season again!
Wishing you a blessed, nourished, grace-filled Thanksgiving. 🤍
With love,
Kailee
